Ramp Race
Engineering⏱ 25 minAge 5+
🧑🤝🧑
Do this with a grown-up. Keep fingers clear of the car and the ramp edge.
🧰 You need
- 📚a stack of books
- 🟫a flat board or tray
- 🚗a toy car
- 🧣a towel
- 📏a ruler
👣 Let’s do it
- 1Make a ramp: lean the board on the books.
- 2Let the car roll down. Measure how far it goes.
- 3Make the ramp steeper with more books. Test again.
- 4Lay a towel on the ramp and test again.
- 5Write down what changed.
👀 What will you see?
A steeper ramp makes the car go further. A towel slows it down.
