Baking Soda Volcano

Do this with a grown-up. Do it on a tray. Keep it away from your eyes and mouth. A grown-up pours the vinegar.

🧰 You need

  • 🥤a small cup
  • 🧂2 spoons of baking soda
  • 🍶vinegar
  • 🧪a few drops of food colour
  • 🍽️a tray

👣 Let’s do it

  1. 1Put the cup on the tray.
  2. 2Add the baking soda and a few drops of colour.
  3. 3Ask a grown-up to pour in the vinegar.
  4. 4Step back and watch the foam!
  5. 5Wash the tray and your hands.

Colourful foam bubbles up and spills over like a volcano.
