Tube Binoculars

Do this with a grown-up. A grown-up helps with tape. Keep the string short and never tie it tightly.

🧰 You need

  • 🧻2 toilet roll tubes
  • 📎tape
  • 🖍️crayons or paint
  • 🧵a short piece of string
  • ⭐stickers

✂️ Let’s make it

  1. 1Decorate both tubes with crayons, paint or stickers.
  2. 2Let the paint dry.
  3. 3Ask a grown-up to tape the tubes side by side.
  4. 4Tape a short string to each outer side.
  5. 5Hang them on your neck and go bird spotting!
