Story one: The Missing Blue Crayon
Mira was drawing a garden when she realised her blue crayon was missing. Her brother Arun was using a blue crayon to draw a whale.
“I need blue too,” Mira said. Arun explained that he needed to finish the whale's tail, then offered her the crayon. When he finished, Mira coloured her sky and offered to draw waves for his whale.
They finished their pictures together by taking turns and sharing ideas.

Practise kindness every day
Ask your child what a character might be feeling, model apologies when you make a mistake, and notice helpful actions specifically.
Kindness also includes boundaries. Children can be kind and still say no to unwanted touch or unsafe requests.
